課程概述

鑄造是機械製造領域中一重要的製程,對於難加工或難塑性成形的合金、形狀複雜的零件或體積極大的工件,以鑄造方法來生產特別具有優勢。鑄造製程已廣泛用於機械、汽車、民生、電子電機、航太、生醫…等產業之零組件生產上。且,鑄造之技術內容結合了機械和材料二個專業領域。
本課程首先會針對鑄造技術之發展過程以及國內、外之現況和未來發展趨勢作ㄧ概述,以讓同學們充分瞭解鑄造在機械加工製程中所扮演的角色及其重要性。接著,在課程之實質內容上,將針對現階段鑄造業界所普遍採用之一些造模和鑄造方法、合金之凝固理論(包含鑄件之熱傳現象及凝固冷卻速率之推導及計算、合金元素之偏析理論及現象、凝固後之巨觀及微觀組織特性)、澆流道系統及冒口系統設計、各種不同鑄造合金(鑄鐵、鋁合金、鎂合金、鈦合金…等)之熔解技術、熔液調質及合金處理、鑄造方法、工業應用等內容作ㄧ詳盡的講解。最後,將針對鑄件一般可能發生的缺陷極其補救方法,以實例來探討解說。
修完本課程之後,同學們不但可以學習到與鑄造相關的機械及材料的理論,且對於鑄造在工業上的應用亦有一清楚的概念,對於未來在此領域之就業或研究上必然有所助益。 

課程目標
教導學生明瞭鑄造製程中各種造模及鑄造方法之原理、程序、設備裝置、應用及優劣點,並針對鑄造合金之凝固理論、凝固速率及凝固組織作ㄧ詳細的解說。此外,本課程亦介紹澆流道系統及冒口系統之設計概念及方法,最後,並針對各種不同鑄造合金之相關鑄造技術及合金特性作ㄧ扼要的說明,期使學生能夠對於鑄造技術之冶金理論及製程技術有深入的了解。
